Japan part 5
Our second trip out on the train was to visit Himeji Castle: The castle was on a hill, so there were some fantastic views from the top: And this photo was taken of us in the castle (sorry it's not very good quality): One night we wandered round Kyoto Temple: We visited many temples while in Japan, one of which was called the Golden Temple: Another temple we visited wasn't originally on our itinery, but Miss I remembered enjoying visiting it on a school trip when she was younger, so suggested we might like it. I can't remember what this temple was called, but it was up a big hill in Kyoto: So we all needed to stop for a rest once we got to the top of the hill, which provided a perfect photo opportunity: Here are some photos of the temple: To be continued...
Stunning photos Moll...I do LOVE the temples..the golden one is my favourite, the reflection and surrounding trees aaaaah beam me up Scotty..destination Golden Temple! x
I received a life saving transplant in November 2006 and will always be eternally grateful to my donor. I am now suffering from ME. I completed sixth form in May 2009, but am not well enough to work or study further at the moment.
Great photos, looking forward to more.
