Update on M

I've just heard an update on 4 year old M from her mum. I last wrote about her here. M spent 4 days in ICU ventilated, but after giving her a break from the anti rejection drug that caused the fluid retention she was well enough to come off the ventilator and return to the ward. As soon as the course of that anti rejection drug was finished M immediately became very ill with rejection again so they decided to try one last drug. That didn't make a difference to the rejection but because M is currently so immunocompromised, it made her very ill. Her breathing deteriorated and she was rushed to ICU and put on an oscillator because a ventilator wasn't enough because she has pneuomonia. M is currently very very ill and for now the doctors have had to completely stop all her anti rejection drugs. I'm so worried about her and can't imagine how her parents must be feeling now.
